Golf Courses and Acreage Greens
Mirage Putting Greens is one of the only companies to offer turf specifically engineered to hold long incoming approach shots without compromising “true” putting characteristics. Mirage’s revolutionary “Enhanced” Tour-Putt (GC) turf was the answer to the industry’s critics about synthetic turf not being to perform on a larger scale outside of conventional backyard greens. This turf is designed with a higher pile length while maintaining industry-leading density to absorb and “grab” shots coming in from longer distances thus opening up the synthetic turf market outside a typical backyard green. Previous synthetic turf systems use “deep in-fill” that inevitably will harden over time resulting in firm, unrealistic surfaces that tend to make the ball bounce rather than absorbing the impact of the ball. Further, these “deep in-fill” systems require regular maintenance including brooming and top dressing to maintain a consistent ball roll. Mirage has designed and installed many “Par 3” and regulation holes on acreages and full golf course applications.
Tee Boxes
Mirage Tee Line turf replaces conventional driving range mats and even accepts regular golf tees. The realistic absorption of the club impact on the turf resembles swinging through natural turf without the maintenance of replacing divots. Tee boxes can be installed in any size or shape and are commonly installed for driving ranges, golf academies and tee boxes on regulation golf courses.
Fringe
Mirage has a variety of synthetic turf products to replicate collared fringe that can be installed around the entire perimeter of portions of your green. Choose a turf with various fibre heights and density that replicates first and second cuts that you would play on any regulation golf course.
